Annoying Ink Replacement : Powered by Amazon Posted on 2008-11-19 |

| I am very irritated with this machine! I purchased Office Max brand ink cartridges to replace the empty ones, and the machine won't recognize them. It keeps telling me that I am out of ink, even after putting in fresh cartridges. It won't even let me use the scanner, which requires no ink at all, until I "replace" the cartridges. Now I have to go back to OfficeMax and complain to the salesperson who sold me the generics. I will now be forced to spend the extra money on the Canon brand ink cartridges. So, buyer beware--if you prefer to save a few dollars on ink, you cannot do so with this unit!! |

VERY NICE : Powered by Amazon Posted on 2008-11-18 |

| Have not had product long enough to give a complete evaluation(the reason for only 3 stars). However, so far copying is very good; scanning is easy--still not good at handling scanned documents/photos. Very easy to set up with my Dell. Software is pretty good. So far, I would definiely recommend to family(and I love my family). |

Useless color managment : Powered by Amazon Posted on 2008-11-17 |

| I've tried every manual or automatic trick in the book...I can't get this thing to match anything on the screen. Colors and contrast are so far off, it's unusable for photo printing at any level. |

Canon Pixma MX700 printer : Powered by Amazon Posted on 2008-11-16 |

| I am entirely happy with my new Canon Pixma MX700. It prints beautifully and very quickly. I like the smaller size and especially love the auto-feed tray. I've had Canon printers both at work and home for the last 6 years and have always found them to be dependable and inexpensive to use. |

When Will Canon Get the Hint : Powered by Amazon Posted on 2008-11-15 |

| When will Canon get the hint to start incorporating the PC Fax feature into their machines to recieve and transmit from and into the PC. They want you to use ink, that's what it's all about. I love canon machines they work great, but without this feature I won't buy another canon. If they ever start incorporting this feature I'll look at them again. |
