Junior ALL-ETT Billfold, Thinnest wallet ever made, made thinner
Junior ALL-ETT Billfold, Thinnest wallet ever made, made thinner
About half the size of the ALL-ETTĀ® Billfold. Holds 8-12 cards, typical wallet items we all carry: drivers license, ATM, credit cards, membership cards, business cards, etc. 1 Cash Pocket for American bills. Also holds some larger items like receipts. .....Fits front pocket with room to spare..... Sturdy Construction:...... The material is ripstop nylon "spinnaker cloth." Although it's as thin as paper, it's incredibly strong. It breathes, so it does not get sticky in the summer. And it's water resistant, so the contents stay dry..... Other Advantages:.... - May reduce back pain caused by sitting on a too-thick wallet. - It's almost invisible, so pickpockets don't know where it is. They can't steal it if they don't know it's there...... - It's washable, and no animal products are used in its manufacture. ......More information at ALL-ETT website.

The Junior All-ETT is just a wisp of a thing but it holds my 9 cards plus 30 bills. It is astonishing how thin it is empty and even when full it is much more compact than the credit card holder/money clip I used to carry; also, unlike a money clip, the ETT stores bills for convenient access. The satiny black finish of the rip-stop nylon is attractive but non-traditional.

I've tried a number of compact wallets, including the Jimi, but this ithe best. I like it so well that I intend to buy a couple more for gifts!

Super-slim wallet! Sturdy... expensive for what it is : Powered by Amazon

Like the title says, the wallet is slim - the slimmest wallet I've ever seen or owned - and I've looked everywhere. So on with the review:

Cons:
(1) Audible. As other people have mentioned, the fabric it's made with is indeed "crinkly" (i.e. it crackles like paper when deformed or bent). However, it's not a con for too long - I've found it gets softer over time - after about two weeks of use. Unless you'd like to be able to open your wallet in silence (something one usually takes for granted with all other wallets), it's not really a con.

(2) Price. Including shipping, it's a tad expensive for what it is. I feel like anyone with access to a decent sewing machine and the right fabric could make one. Really, one bill fold, and two slots for cards. That's it.

(3) Limp. With both card slots filled with cards, it has a tendency to flap open when you hold only one side - (i.e. you could close the wallet in either direction easily - it's floppy). However, it's unlikely the cards would fall out because they enter sideways as shown in the picture.

Pros:
(1) Super-slim. If you hate the butt-cheek bulge that comes with most men's wallets, you can say goodbye to the distended, saggy back-pocket of your jeans for good. I wear slim jeans, not the rock-star-tell-your-religion type, but slim enough that's impressive that you can't see I've even got a wallet in there.

(2) Sturdy. While it's floppy it's definitely not weak. I tried to tear it and it seemed very resistant to my modest test. I wouldn't it use it to stop a bullet but it's more than strong enough to be pressed against my butt sixteen hours a day in variable temperatures and settings (e.g. seated, walking, running, sky-diving, etc.).

(3) Spacious. For it's size, I'm very impressed with all that I can fit in there. I've had it packed with at least ten cash bills and fourteen or so regular cards (credit, drivers license, etc.) and my wallet was still slimmer than any of my old, completely empty wallets - that's nice.

So, after weighing the pros and cons, I find the wallet addresses my needs very well. I don't carry a wallet to make a fashion statement, I use it to carry around my ID, cash, and cards. For that alone, I think it's a very good, but not excellent, super-slim solution.

Ugly as sin, but makes room in your pocket! : Powered by Amazon

This is definitely not something you want to pull out at a business meeting, or on a date; nobody will be impressed. But as far as a thin profile and function, it can't be beat. I have tried money clips, but that big bill you start the night off with invariably turns into a stack of smaller bills that can't be handled by a money clip. This has plenty of room for a few cards, and can expand to accomodate some bills, without displacing your cell-phone/PDA/mp3 player/camera or whatever 21st century tech you're attached to. Yes it looks like you made it yourself - but the beauty is in the simplicity!

I've been using the All-Ett billfold for a short time, and so far it's great. I put nine cards and several bills in it, and it's still extremely thin. Since it's the "junior" one, I carry it in my front pocket, thus eliminating the wallet bulge in my back pocket entirely. And in your front pocket, the All-Ett is easier to pull out quickly, especially if you're wearing a coat.
One of its big advantages is that you don't need to fold your bills, you just stick them in normally, unlike other "slim" wallets I've seen. And making it from rip-stop nylon was a smart idea - it looks good and should last a long time. (Some people say it crinkles when you open it. Big deal - money is crinkly, and no one complains about that.)
The only thing you don't get is a view window to put ID in; you'll have to pull it out from your cards. Again, not a big deal, most places asking for ID make you take it out anyway.
Any disadvantage? Well, maybe it's slightly pricey. But looking at how long you'd likely have it for, and what it gives you, I wouldn't argue over a few bucks. I'll be sticking with my All-Ett.

It seems that the people that gave it poor reviews below didn't know what they were getting ahead of time. This wallet is thinner than any you have ever used. Some may think it feels "cheap" because the material is so thin, but it is surprisingly strong and durable (I believe it's made from the same kind of cloth that sails are made of, so it is lightweight and tough), and "thin" is the whole point of getting this wallet. It is a fraction of the size of my previous wallet, I have to check now and then to make sure it's there because I simply can't even feel it. If you are looking to simplify, this is one place you can start.
